she: Julie

I had the pleasure of working with Nathalie Parmeggiani's collection Pour mon potager il faut....  I was delighted by the color combo: gray, orange, turquoise.  So delicious!  So current!  So unique!  And the printed transparencies that are a part of this collection are amazing!  So thick!  I've never seen anything like them.  Just fab! 

Here's what I made:

And here are some of the details:

She-Detail1-sm
I painted the journaling strips with watercolor paints and added splashes of gesso.

She-Detail2-sm
The circles are piles and layers of pattern and color all stitched together.

She-Detail3-sm
I hand cut the title.

She-Detail4-sm
The flower was painted onto the transparency and then cut out.  I like the way the patterned paper peeks through the printed design.
