Cadbury Love - Julie

I don't scrap chronologically.  I just scrap whatever stories are speaking to me at the moment.  When I saw these pretty papers from the Innocence line, I immediately thought of these photos of my friends Riv and Lorraine getting excited about some Cadbury Eggs!

My favorite thing about the layout is the fact that I cut that large rectangle with scissors and so it's all wonky.  It just creates such a nice sense of motion on the layout!

I inked the edges of the paper with yellow, blue, and brown inks.  It gives a kind of cool "glow" effect, don't you think?

I also inked the edges of the paper ruffles to help the punched edge really stand out.

I used a truly random collection of pink flowers (that felt flower has been in my "pink embellishments" drawer for about two years) to decorate the layout.  I used the white buttons to try to create some kind of unity among them.

Thanks for stopping by!
