Today I want to share some cards with you. I'm not really a card maker but every now and then I really enjoy creating something with paper without any pictures. It's nice to just play with beautiful papers without having to consider if they match the pictures in color or theme.
Fot this first card I used an older paper line called C'est petit riens qui... I love the colors of this paper line. The green and orange go so well together and because the white is off-white, almost creme, I think it looks great on craft cardstock!
The harmonica flower is very easy to make. Use a border punch to make a nice border. Fold the punched strip of paper on every cm, like a harmonica. Glue the ends together and shape it to a circle. I used hot glue to adhere the button and at the same time keep the circle together. The wirder you make your strip of paper, the bigger your flower gets.
Materials used: Ces petit riens qui... (all papers), DOS-T-E05 (transparency).
For the next card I used a new paper line called O délices d'Alice. The blue color of the music paper is truly beautiful. Absolutly one of my favorites! The border was punched from Les pages d'ecriture - musicales.
I want to end this post with a tip (although I have to admit that I don't always do this myself :)
If you like to send home made cards but have to sit down especially to create them and then find yourself sending a bought card instead then this might be a good habbit for you... Every time when you finish a layout, before you clean up your scrap space, sit down and for a moment and create a card with your left overs. Before you know it you will have a whole box filled with cards you can choose from :)
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
